Addendum

My assistants and I carefully lowered 150-200 lb 100 plus year old plaster statues from their pedestals in St. Michaels Catholic Church Grand Forks, ND. We cleaned them, prepared them for painting, and then painted them with color. (see website for details) www.williamrerick.com
In the summer of 2019, I was employed by the Teaching and Learning Initiative as a Graduate Student Worker. I researched a range of inclusive pedagogy practices and implicit bias awareness aimed at helping faculty become more nurturing of students from a diverse range of backgrounds. I organized this content into a tool-kit of guides, checklists, case studies, and worksheets. I helped refine and add to the important content of this initiative, and this experience gave me a deeper appreciation of our quickly changing cultural landscape.
